I'll point that I'm only including folks I know are coming. So if you think you belong to one these groups (or you've decided you should), add yourself! Then ping me, we'll have a beer, or a coffee, or some other form of sustenance.

Places that have been recommended
- www.saltlickbbq.com/
- Trudys for migas ; NOTE: the primary reason to go there is the Mexican Martini. I recommend the Patron SIlver for the tequila selection and a side dish of olives. Queso Especial also goes well with the chips and green salsa on this [damon].
- www.ironworksbbq.com/restaurant-menu.asp 100 Red River (few blocks south of 6th Street)
- www.myspace.com/lovejoys A bar you might like, or not. 604 Neches St. = just north of 6th Street
- www.kerbeylanecafe.com/ healthy, good and hip. Go for breakfast after hours too, especially if Magnolia Cafe is too crazy.
- conanspizza.com/central Chicago style deep dish pizza from heaven
- www.halcyonaustin.com The Halcyon Coffee Bar/Lounge - reasonable coffee, good toasted sandwiches, s'mores (which are apparently amazing, though I didn't try them), free wifi, loads of couches on W 4th St, not far from the Hampton
- Check the Yelp - Austin site for tips on places to eat
- Ringside at Sullivans - burgers and beer are good in the casual bar area, normally live music of some kind playing too
- The Ginger Man - fantastic bar, largest number of beers I've *ever seen* on tap. Try Fat Tire, Fireman's #4.
- Enoteca Vespaio - great little deli style cafe at 1610 S. Congress where you can get breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lovely food.
- Lamberts Downtown BBQ - 401 W 2nd St, Austin (corner 2nd and Guadalupe), brilliant BBQ, hanger steak is gorgeous (not cheap)
- Magnolia Cafe (??)
- Polvo's on south first
- TacoDeli on Spyglass (south mopac).
Places that have not been recommended
- IHOP on East Cesar Chavez
